In the 3rd minute Amadeo Primeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lavrentiy Maslyannikov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, Hermosillo FC's Samuel Laurentzi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lavrentiy Maslyannikov. Lavrentiy Maslyannikov yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After some careless play in the Hermosillo FC defense, Efraín Soler kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silverio Bieito. The Hermosillo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silverio Bieito should have stopped the shot. Lavrentiy Maslyannikov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marciano Frasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, Dromes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Laurentzi came free, but Lavrentiy Maslyannikov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Samuel Laurentzi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lavrentiy Maslyannikov was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Efraín Soler dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Silverio Bieito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Navia, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Hermosillo FC's Samuel Laurentzi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lavrentiy Maslyannikov. That made the score 2-1 after 44 minutes of play. Hermosillo FC's Silverio Bieito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Du Jun in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samuel Laurentzi made a kick off. Dromes FC's Andreas Fromm shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 54th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Silverio Bieito but with some difficulty. Efraín Soler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Silverio Bieito made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Adrio in the 57th minute of play forced Dromes FC's goalkeeper Lavrentiy Maslyannikov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Dromes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Mirande came free, but Lavrentiy Maslyannikov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute of the match Hermosillo FC got a corner. Dromes FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Amadeo Primeiro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hermosillo FC's Emiliano Victoro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lavrentiy Maslyannikov in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 64 minutes, Samuel Laurentzi made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Dromes FC's Lavrentiy Maslyannikov tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lavrentiy Maslyannikov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Mirande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lavrentiy Maslyannikov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Mirande, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Lavrentiy Maslyannikov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorio Dino in the 74th minute of play. Efraín Soler kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Laurentzi in the 78th minute of play forced Dromes FC's goalkeeper Lavrentiy Maslyannikov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th match minute, Dromes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Porfirio to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dromes FC's goalkeeper Lavrentiy Maslyannikov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, Dromes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Adrio came free, but Lavrentiy Maslyannikov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute Conrado Mirande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lavrentiy Maslyannikov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lavrentiy Maslyannikov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Mirande in the 91st minute of play. Samuel Laurentzi might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lavrentiy Maslyannikov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Samuel Laurentzi ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 95th minute, Hermosillo FC's Victorio Dino seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Victorio Dino the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Hermosillo FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Victorio Dino had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Victorio Dino hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Hermosillo FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
