An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Bertol in the 9th minute of play forced Dromes FC's goalkeeper Lavrentiy Maslyannikov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 minutes, Reynaldo Navia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dromes FC and the Santa Fe players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 11 played minutes Dromes FC got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Navia. Dromes FC's Lavrentiy Maslyannikov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Dromes FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Dromes FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Emiliano Udalaitz hit a great ball. Shao Jing Yuan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efraín Soler, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Du Jun scored 1-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Shao Jing Yuan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rdth minute of the game Venancio Bertol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dromes FC's Lavrentiy Maslyannikov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Shao Jing Yuan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efraín Soler in the 35th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Godofredo Rik kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lavrentiy Maslyannikov. That made the score 2-1 in the 38 minute of play. Eliott Pépin hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute Du Jun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shao Jing Yuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Venancio Bertol notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Dromes FC's Lavrentiy Maslyannikov. Lavrentiy Maslyannikov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eliott Pépin during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Raimundo Lano kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Santa Fe walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
