The referee ignored Águilas Poblanas's protests and gave Alejo Orlandus a yellow card for diving instead. Damian Quirze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Froila in the 33rd minute of play. Gustavo Chabier kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
