Roberto Mateus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ismael Osasun was extremely unlucky when he, in the 13th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Alejo Porfiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Nisio in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Braulio Ondino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alejo Porfiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Nisio in the 20th minute of play. In the 29th minute Claudio Millan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabricio Stephen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael Macias kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Huracan FC's Alejo Porfiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Estavan in the 38th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Águilas Poblanas's zone, Claudio Millan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabricio Stephen came out of the goal and Claudio Millan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th minute Moises Nisio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejo Porfiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roberto Mateus made a kick off. With an all-out effort, Águilas Poblanas's Alejo Porfiro threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Roberto Mateus, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 55 minutes Huracan FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Benigno Froila who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Benigno Froila almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Huracan FC's Alejo Porfiro did a great save. Ismael Osasun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Fabricio Stephen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Huracan FC's Gavino Lehen got a free kick in the 60th minute. After 62 minutes of play, Águilas Poblanas's Roberto Mateus made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alejo Porfiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Claudio Millan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 78 played minutes Huracan FC got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Nofre. In the 79th minute, Leonardo Estavan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alejo Porfiro made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Roberto Mateus sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victorino Patrido during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. But to his dismay, Roberto Mateus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Águilas Poblanas's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
