The audience thought a goal was coming when Roberto Balendin got free with Fabricio Stephen in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 15th match minute, Vampiros Aztecas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laureano Eusko to maneuver through the defense. Laureano Eusko kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Timoteo Elija didn't quite understand what happened when in the 20 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Vampiros Aztecas were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Águilas Poblanas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Teo Lon took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Victor Peyo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Águilas Poblanas's Fabricio Stephen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Balendin in the 28th minute of play. Benigno Froila took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Urbano Berto. Urbano Berto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A hard shot 32 in the game by Jun Misugi from a close distance when the talented Fabricio Stephen managed to make a qualified save. Águilas Poblanas's players were relieved. Águilas Poblanas's Fabricio Stephen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Águilas Poblanas from getting a goal against them. Roberto Balendin struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Fabricio Stephen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vampiros Aztecas. Roberto Balendin scored 1-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabricio Stephen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roberto Balendin to make the kick off. Fabricio Stephen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Balendin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roberto Balendin in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabricio Stephen saved Águilas Poblanas from getting behind. Vampiros Aztecas's Urbano Berto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benigno Froila in the 63rd minute of play. Fabricio Stephen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teo Lon, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Urbano Berto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Froila in the 69th minute of the match. In the 71st minute Roberto Balendin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabricio Stephen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Águilas Poblanas's Elpidio Chayo was substituted for Benicio Palben. With 77 minutes on the clock, Ladislao Gaskon commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 76th minute, one of Vampiros Aztecas:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vampiros Aztecas. When the match had been going on for 79 minutes, Águilas Poblanas's Alejo Orlandus got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Urbano Berto. In the 83rd minute, Roberto Balendin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 84 minutes of play, Águilas Poblanas's Saturnino Venceslas made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Urbano Berto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vampiros Aztecas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Saturnino Venceslas scored to the left of an out of position Urbano Berto, making the score, 2-4. The supporters of Águilas Poblanas booed when Vampiros Aztecas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Balendin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valentin Nesor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabricio Stephen having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Águilas Poblanas had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
