Alex Cadrecha was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ricardo Alava showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. No Me Inscriban Gracias's Alex Cadrecha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Alava in the 11th minute of play. Jama Balanza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Cadrecha having to interfere. If Matamba Arenal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of No Me Inscriban Gracias booed when RockCity F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ívan Cedeño didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Cadrecha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardo Alava's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Lucas Picavea might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oliver Khan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lucas Picavea ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ricardo Alava in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alex Cadrecha saved No Me Inscriban Gracias from getting behind. 34 minutes into the game, Ricardo Alava lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Alex Cadrecha. Alex Cadrecha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Alava in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Alava in the 39th minute of play forced No Me Inscriban Gracias's goalkeeper Alex Cadrecha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xian Arnao struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Oliver Khan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for No Me Inscriban Gracias. RockCity F.C.'s Oliver Khan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolás Janer in the 44th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Alava in the 47th minute of play forced No Me Inscriban Gracias's goalkeeper Alex Cadrecha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricardo Alava made a kick off. After a rather tough play, RockCity F.C.'s Xzavier Zulueta got a free kick in the 70th minute. When Mellington Bernia came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the No Me Inscriban Gracias fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mellington Bernia couldn't finish the play. Ricardo Alava's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alex Cadrecha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. With 82 minutes on the clock, Xzavier Zulueta commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Xian Arnao kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 90thth minute of the game Jama Balanza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but No Me Inscriban Gracias's Alex Cadrecha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 92nd minute Matamba Arenal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Cadrecha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oliver Khan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xian Arnao in the 95th minute of play. Alex Cadrecha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jama Balanza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Many of No Me Inscriban Gracias's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. No Me Inscriban Gracias may have spent more time on the ball, but RockCity F.C. were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
