CD Golozos's René Redondo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urtsin Verga in the 13th minute of play. Humberto Morodo kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After having played for 17 minutes, Sebastián Betancourt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Golozos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastián Betancourt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 19 minutes of play, CD Golozos's Xacintu Cerdeiras made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. René Redondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camilo Llama in the 27th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xacintu Cerdeiras in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfonso Dorado saved Nutridal F.C. from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Nutridal F.C.'s zone, Xacintu Cerdeiras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Dorado came out of the goal and Xacintu Cerdeiras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Xacintu Cerdeiras made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, CD Golozos's goal looked a bit too open when Ferrer Aras came free, but René Redondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
