Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Zenon Santin kicked off to start the match. Ignacio Sotilla came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by GOMEZ F.C.'s Sebastian De la Rosa. But to his dismay, Sebastian De la Rosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 6 minutes into the game, one of YerBaTerOs:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. YerBaTerOs:s Ignacio Sotilla showed great skill when he stopped Sandro Schiffer:s penalty. 7 minutes into the game, GOMEZ F.C.'s Sandro Schiffer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ignacio Sotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. With a little luck, GOMEZ F.C.'s Ismael Momparte got control of the ball when Xencio Galaz tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind YerBaTerOs's goalkeeper Ignacio Sotilla, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 17th minute GOMEZ F.C. were awarded a corner. Sandro Schiffer went to the cornerflag to take it. Ismael Momparte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zenon Santin in the 22nd minute of the match. After 24 played minutes YerBaTerOs got a freekick which was hit by Rosero Baranda. Sandro Schiffer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ignacio Sotilla. YerBaTerOs's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. GOMEZ F.C.'s Ismael Momparte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xencio Galaz in the 26th minute of play. Juan-Alfredo Oñatibia hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute Patricio Lloret shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacio Sotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute of the match, Zenon Santin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ismael Momparte saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Sebastian De la Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 44 played minutes GOMEZ F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ruperto Erce. In the 46thth minute of the game Zenon Santin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GOMEZ F.C.'s Ismael Momparte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When YerBaTerOs's Zenon Santin in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GOMEZ F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patricio Lloret stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ignacio Sotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian De la Rosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 70th minute, Sebastian De la Rosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 72nd match minute, GOMEZ F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro Schiffer to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hidalgo Babiano in the 78th minute of play forced GOMEZ F.C.'s goalkeeper Ismael Momparte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Cafu Santamaria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to GOMEZ F.C. getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Cafu Santamaria hit a great ball. Ignacio Sotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berry Giles in the 83rd minute of play. YerBaTerOs's Ignacio Sotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save YerBaTerOs from getting a goal against them. GOMEZ F.C. were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after YerBaTerOs's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sandro Schiffer took the corner. Ismael Momparte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hidalgo Babiano in the 90th minute of the match. When Hidalgo Babiano came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the YerBaTerOs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hidalgo Babiano couldn't finish the play. GOMEZ F.C. were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over YerBaTerOs's much stronger midfield.
