In the 10th minute, Dannes Olañeta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Berry Giles took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xacintu Estevez. Xacintu Estevez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Berry Giles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 15 minutes into the match, Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's goal looked a bit too open when Berry Giles came free, but Xacintu Estevez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Ruperto Erce managed to get in a good position for a shot. GOMEZ F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ruperto Erce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xacintu Estevez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Berry Giles scored 0-2 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Xacintu Estevez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 32 minutes into the game, Xalvador Pozos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GOMEZ F.C. the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's Xalvador Pozos got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Xacintu Estevez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Berry Giles went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Berry Giles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xacintu Estevez having to interfere. Edgar Abecia hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After the first half GOMEZ F.C. were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patricio Lloret made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Berry Giles took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Xacintu Estevez to make any attempt to save it. In the 60th minute, Xabier Trigueros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Berry Giles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 66 played minutes Berry Giles rounded Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-5. After 70 played minutes GOMEZ F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Lloret. After 73 minutes of play, GOMEZ F.C.'s Berry Giles made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xacintu Estevez was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of GOMEZ F.C. booed when Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavion Pedraja didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's zone, Patricio Lloret stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xacintu Estevez came out of the goal and Patricio Lloret tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes into the match, Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's goal looked a bit too open when Berry Giles came free, but Xacintu Estevez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patricio Lloret could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Xacintu Estevez made a huge save. Xacintu Estevez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berry Giles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over GOMEZ F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre throughout the match.
