A collision led to GOMEZ F.C. getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Ruperto Erce hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastian De la Rosa in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walter Huarte saved Astillero del Guayas from getting behind. Walter Huarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian De la Rosa in the 15th minute of play. After 18 minutes of play, Astillero del Guayas's Dani Galiana made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ismael Momparte was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Astillero del Guayas's Pablo-Enrique Oneca slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ismael Momparte. That made the score 2-0 after 22 minutes of play. Ismael Momparte made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Ulizes Sola sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th minute of the match, Ulizes Sola tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ismael Momparte saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A well-hit corner resulted in Javier Landeras heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Javier Landeras hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. The supporters of GOMEZ F.C. booed when Astillero del Guayas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruperto Ufret didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Zabal Loizaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Astillero del Guayas's Walter Huarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian De la Rosa in the 39th minute of play. A collision led to GOMEZ F.C. getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Ruperto Erce hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dani Galiana in the 41st minute of play forced GOMEZ F.C.'s goalkeeper Ismael Momparte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ismael Momparte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulizes Sola, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Ulizes Sola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Ismael Momparte made a huge save. In the 47th minute, Alonzo Cabello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

After 53 played minutes Astillero del Guayas got a freekick which was hit by Ruperto Ufret. Sebastian De la Rosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Astillero del Guayas's Ruperto Ufret got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After 64 minutes of play, Astillero del Guayas's Ulizes Sola made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ismael Momparte was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ismael Momparte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dani Galiana in the 71st minute of the match. Ismael Momparte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dani Galiana, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After some careless play in the GOMEZ F.C. defense, Ulizes Sola kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ismael Momparte. The GOMEZ F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ismael Momparte should have stopped the shot. Berry Giles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Berry Giles hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Vermudo Rallo hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the match, GOMEZ F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ulizes Sola came free, but Ismael Momparte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruperto Ufret charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruperto Ufret the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Berry Giles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th match minute, Astillero del Guayas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo-Enrique Oneca to maneuver through the defense. Walter Huarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berry Giles in the 95th minute of play.
