Spectators: 162 (Terracing: 122, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tanio Lezaeta started the match with the kick off. Talcampeón FC's Carlos Alberto Villa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andolín Duvauchelle in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute, Alonso Pascal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Cobresal's Salvador Roldán slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carlos Alberto Villa. That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. The supporters of Cobresal booed when Talcampeón FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Raineri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Salvador Roldán took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carlos Alberto Villa. Talcampeón FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Cobresal's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Raineri came free, but Constantin Ionaș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Cobresal's goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Larrañaga came free, but Constantin Ionaș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Alberto Villa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andolín Duvauchelle in the 42nd minute of play. In the 46th minute, Alonso Pascal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 48 minutes into the match, Talcampeón FC's goalkeeper Carlos Alberto Villa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florín Sances. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andolín Duvauchelle made a kick off. Carlos Alberto Villa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andolín Duvauchelle in the 51st minute of play. Andolín Duvauchelle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Carlos Alberto Villa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Alberto Villa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andolín Duvauchelle in the 54th minute of play. Talcampeón FC's Carlos Alberto Villa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andolín Duvauchelle in the 57th minute of play. Tanio Lezaeta who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Constantin Ionaș when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cobresal's Ubaldo Matildo Kunstmann was substituted for Alifonso Elorreaga. With an all-out effort, Talcampeón FC's Constantin Ionaș threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cosme Mella, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cobresal's Constantin Ionaș proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Cobresal from getting a goal against them. 83 minutes into the match, Talcampeón FC's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Roldán came free, but Carlos Alberto Villa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cosme Mella recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Renato Cesarini took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Alberto Villa. Carlos Alberto Villa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 94th match minute, Talcampeón FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damario Ferrada to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Alberto Villa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renato Cesarini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Talcampeón FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
