With his leg Luis Alberto Lazcano managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when Centinela Español FC's Andreas Olsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Josías Valdenebro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mercurio Pasos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute Luis Gaymer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josías Valdenebro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 minutes of play, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Luis Gaymer made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Josías Valdenebro was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 10th minute, Zelipe Hidalgo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Centinela Español FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Centinela Español FC's Josías Valdenebro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Gaymer in the 13th minute of play. Elazar Dighero scored 1-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Josías Valdenebro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jaime Machuca charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaime Machuca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Club Deportes Santa Cruz booed when Centinela Español FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Machuca didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Mercurio Pasos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Josías Valdenebro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Josías Valdenebro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Gaymer in the 25th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Elazar Dighero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Josías Valdenebro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. After some careless play in the Centinela Español FC defense, Luis Gaymer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Josías Valdenebro. The Centinela Español FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Josías Valdenebro should have stopped the shot. Josías Valdenebro came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Luis Gaymer. But to his dismay, Luis Gaymer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. In the 36th minute, Luis Gaymer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Deportes Santa Cruz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Remi Manzanal during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 38 played minutes Club Deportes Santa Cruz got a freekick which was hit by Remi Manzanal. Norino Huaiquipan hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elazar Dighero in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Josías Valdenebro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Josías Valdenebro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Gaymer in the 55th minute of play. Josías Valdenebro made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Elazar Dighero sent off a good shot on target. In the 72nd minute, Luis Gaymer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Josías Valdenebro. The goal made the score 1-12. A collision led to Club Deportes Santa Cruz getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Norberto Oviedo hit a great ball. Josías Valdenebro was a little too slow when Bairon Mateluna got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 1-13. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bairon Mateluna in the 81st minute of play forced Centinela Español FC's goalkeeper Josías Valdenebro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Josías Valdenebro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bairon Mateluna in the 83rd minute of play. With an all-out effort, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Josías Valdenebro threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bairon Mateluna, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Centinela Español FC's Josías Valdenebro got control of the ball when Remi Manzanal tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Bairon Mateluna in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Club Deportes Santa Cruz's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
