When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Sverker Zander sped through CRUZ DEL SUR's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Juan Pedro Owen. With a little luck, CRUZ DEL SUR's Juan Pedro Owen got control of the ball when Carlos José Vega tried to sneak it across the goal line. Juan Pedro Owen was a little too slow when Patxi Claude got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 0-9. After a rather tough play, CRUZ DEL SUR's Aaron Zamorano got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 81st match minute, Zorros del Desierto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Insaurralde to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, CRUZ DEL SUR's goalkeeper Juan Pedro Owen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patxi Claude. Patxi Claude sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Pedro Owen came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Zorros del Desierto's Sverker Zander. But to his dismay, Sverker Zander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-11. 92 minutes into the match, CRUZ DEL SUR's goal looked a bit too open when Chiquito Escalante came free, but Juan Pedro Owen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patxi Claude took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juan Pedro Owen. Juan Pedro Owen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-12. Zorros del Desierto played a much better game than CRUZ DEL SUR and deserved their victory. The CRUZ DEL SUR players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
