Carlos José Vega hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Insaurralde in the 18th minute of play forced Torreoncito's goalkeeper Abner Dohrmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torreoncito's Abner Dohrmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Torreoncito from getting a goal against them. Abner Dohrmann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chiquito Escalante in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute, Zorros del Desierto's Cristian Insaurralde ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Abner Dohrmann. Abner Dohrmann yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Abner Dohrmann was a little too slow when Cristian Insaurralde got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 5-0. The supporters of Zorros del Desierto booed when Torreoncito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Vera didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Torreoncito's goalkeeper Abner Dohrmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos José Vega. The crowd rose to their feet as Chiquito Escalante kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Abner Dohrmann. That made the score 6-0 in the 36 minute of play. After 40 minutes of play, Zorros del Desierto's Sverker Zander made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abner Dohrmann was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carlos José Vega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abner Dohrmann having to interfere. Abner Dohrmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sverker Zander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marín Mason made a kick off. In the 51st minute Cristian Insaurralde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abner Dohrmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 52nd match minute, Zorros del Desierto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos José Vega to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute, Carlos José Vega left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zorros del Desierto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Zorros del Desierto's Cerilo Romero was substituted for Simón Iturbe. Abner Dohrmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Parot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Torreoncito defense, Chiquito Escalante kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abner Dohrmann. The Torreoncito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abner Dohrmann should have stopped the shot. Zorros del Desierto's Patxi Claude was substituted for Carlos José Vega. 66 minutes into the match, Torreoncito's goal looked a bit too open when Patxi Claude came free, but Abner Dohrmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Zorros del Desierto's Cristian Insaurralde got a free kick in the 67th minute. Torreoncito's Abner Dohrmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sverker Zander in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Insaurralde in the 71st minute of play forced Torreoncito's goalkeeper Abner Dohrmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torreoncito's Abner Dohrmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chiquito Escalante in the 72nd minute of play. Sverker Zander took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abner Dohrmann. Abner Dohrmann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. After 77 played minutes Zorros del Desierto got a freekick which was hit by Sverker Zander. After some careless play in the Torreoncito defense, Sverker Zander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abner Dohrmann. The Torreoncito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abner Dohrmann should have stopped the shot. Abner Dohrmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sverker Zander in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chiquito Escalante in the 85th minute of play forced Torreoncito's goalkeeper Abner Dohrmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Chiquito Escalante notched a goal, 12-0, to the right of Torreoncito's Abner Dohrmann. Abner Dohrmann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Abner Dohrmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sverker Zander in the 90th minute of the match. Abner Dohrmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sverker Zander in the 93rd minute of play. In the 93rd match minute, Torreoncito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Félix Quezada to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the match, Cristian Insaurralde had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abner Dohrmann. Torreoncito's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Insaurralde was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 13-0. Zorros del Desierto's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
