In the 18th minute, Erik Vera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Algarrobo's Naim Oyhan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abner Dohrmann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Algarrobo's Fidelio Aldunate in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Torreoncito's goalie prevented a goal. Abner Dohrmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxín Escudero in the 21st minute of play. If Lion Messi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fidelio Aldunate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 27 minutes into the match, Algarrobo's Maxín Escudero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abner Dohrmann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Torreoncito's goalkeeper Abner Dohrmann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 32 minutes of play, Algarrobo's Maxín Escudero made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abner Dohrmann was left in no man's land by his defense there! Abner Dohrmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lion Messi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Torreoncito defense, Fidelio Aldunate kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abner Dohrmann. The Torreoncito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abner Dohrmann should have stopped the shot. 41 minutes into the match, Torreoncito's goal looked a bit too open when Fidelio Aldunate came free, but Abner Dohrmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Algarrobo's goalkeeper Kaodilinakachukwu Papacharalabous had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Antonio Vives. If Maxín Escudero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abner Dohrmann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fidelio Aldunate went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score.
The wind increased when Marín Mason made the kick off in the second half. Abner Dohrmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidelio Aldunate in the 57th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Torreoncito's goal looked a bit too open when Lion Messi came free, but Abner Dohrmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Algarrobo's Naim Oyhan to fire away a dangerous shot which Abner Dohrmann despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After having played for 63 minutes, Fidelio Aldunate managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Algarrobo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fidelio Aldunate was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abner Dohrmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lion Messi in the 66th minute of the match. Savier Bocanegra's late challenge caught a Torreoncito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Savier Bocanegra helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpected shot in the 72nd minute by Desiderio Marti got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 76th minute, Lion Messi made a precise shot to the right of Abner Dohrmann. Torreoncito's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. In the 79th match minute, Algarrobo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Naim Oyhan to maneuver through the defense. Abner Dohrmann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Desiderio Marti in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute Lion Messi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abner Dohrmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 87 in the game by Desiderio Marti from a close distance when the talented Abner Dohrmann managed to make a qualified save. Torreoncito's players were relieved. The Torreoncito players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
