A well-hit corner resulted in Alfonso Cruz heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 22nd minute, Don Elias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vincente Biggs was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Yerko Papič took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Vincente Biggs to make any attempt to save it. Vincente Biggs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yerko Papič, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 43rd minute, Baez FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Yerko Papič fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Vincente Biggs was a little too slow when Yerko Papič got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 6-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

Baez FC's Vincente Biggs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yerko Papič in the 51st minute of play. Yerko Papič scored 7-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vincente Biggs, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 56 minutes into the match, Baez FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yerko Papič came free, but Vincente Biggs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Baez FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Barni Didier hit a great ball. Vincente Biggs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yerko Papič in the 59th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Don Elias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vincente Biggs. Baez FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Don Elias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Barrio Norte FC's Gilson Paraense was substituted for Maurín Angulo. Barrio Norte FC's Jean Paul Cruz was substituted for Mati Ruiz. Vincente Biggs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilson Paraense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
