An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Blanchetau in the 8th minute of play forced Barrio Norte FC's goalkeeper Fernán Albonico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Don Eliass short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Ferrán Suarez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 15th minute Yerko Papič shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferrán Suarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romualdo Hetz in the 18th minute of play forced Barrio Norte FC's goalkeeper Fernán Albonico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, C.D. Pepino’s's Ferrán Suarez got control of the ball when Yerko Papič tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romualdo Hetz in the 21st minute of play forced Barrio Norte FC's goalkeeper Fernán Albonico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernán Albonico came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by C.D. Pepino’s's Isidoro Blanchetau. But to his dismay, Isidoro Blanchetau quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. C.D. Pepino’s's Ferrán Suarez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save C.D. Pepino’s from getting a goal against them. Barrio Norte FC's Yerko Papič got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, C.D. Pepino’s's goal looked a bit too open when Yerko Papič came free, but Ferrán Suarez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, C.D. Pepino’s's Ferrán Suarez got control of the ball when Don Elias tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of C.D. Pepino’s booed when Barrio Norte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Sabater didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, C.D. Pepino’s's goal looked a bit too open when Yerko Papič came free, but Ferrán Suarez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Slight charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benito Slight the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 47 played minutes Barrio Norte FC got a freekick which was hit by Benito Slight. 48 minutes into the match, C.D. Pepino’s's Raúlo Varletta broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.

Ferrán Suarez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yerko Papič in the 54th minute of the match. Ferrán Suarez came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Barrio Norte FC's Yerko Papič. But to his dismay, Yerko Papič quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 60th minute, C.D. Pepino’s's Isidoro Blanchetau ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fernán Albonico. Fernán Albonico yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. 67 minutes into the game, Yerko Papič was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barrio Norte FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.D. Pepino’s the free kick. The supporters of C.D. Pepino’s booed when Barrio Norte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yerko Papič didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barrio Norte FC's Gilson Paraense was substituted for Maurín Angulo. The supporters of Barrio Norte FC booed when C.D. Pepino’s was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norino Zuasnabar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernán Albonico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romualdo Hetz, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Teofilo Aliste could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Fernán Albonico made a huge save. In the 87th minute, Honesto Palou ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ferrán Suarez was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Ferrán Suarez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilson Paraense in the 91st minute of play. After 93 played minutes Barrio Norte FC got a freekick which was hit by Malin Mac Kenna. In the 96th minute, Teofilo Aliste left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.D. Pepino’s fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. C.D. Pepino’s's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
