The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the game, Miguel Hernánde Arrué cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Manos Manteca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 8th minute, U. de Tarapacá's Juan José J.J. dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. U. de Tarapacá's Manos Manteca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Blanchetau in the 14th minute of play. Ferrán Suarez was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Juan José J.J. capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Juan José J.J. really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. After 19 played minutes C.D. Pepino’s got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Aliste. Manos Manteca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romualdo Hetz, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romualdo Hetz in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manos Manteca saved U. de Tarapacá from getting behind. 30 minutes into the match, Isidoro Blanchetau had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manos Manteca. U. de Tarapacá's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isidoro Blanchetau was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan José J.J. in the 34th minute of play forced C.D. Pepino’s's goalkeeper Ferrán Suarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Juan José J.J. recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ferrán Suarez. Juan José J.J. showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Blanchetau in the 46th minute of play forced U. de Tarapacá's goalkeeper Manos Manteca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 3-3 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miguel Hernánde Arrué stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Manos Manteca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Blanchetau in the 52nd minute of play. Juan José J.J. might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ferrán Suarez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Celino Escobillana's late challenge caught a U. de Tarapacá's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celino Escobillana helped the player get up and apologised. Celino Escobillana hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. A collision led to C.D. Pepino’s getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Maximino Cortazar hit a great ball. Ferrán Suarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sezen Taşkın, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Raúlo Varletta kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juan José J.J. in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferrán Suarez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind U. de Tarapacá's goalkeeper Manos Manteca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romualdo Hetz got free with Manos Manteca in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Manos Manteca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romualdo Hetz in the 81st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sezen Taşkın during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sezen Taşkın hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the match, U. de Tarapacá's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Raffo came free, but Manos Manteca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Hernánde Arrué couldn't finish the play. When the match was over C.D. Pepino’s could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than U. de Tarapacá throughout the match.
