TurboUC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Apolo Irigoyen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. TurboUC's Alexandro Carvacho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guntademaro Goyenechea in the 9th minute of play. Tito Queirolo's late challenge caught a General Velásquez's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tito Queirolo helped the player get up and apologised. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrique Beauchef got free with Rolf Holmgren in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rolf Holmgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enrique Beauchef in the 13th minute. TurboUC were furious when Salvador Lasa was red carded, 23 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for TurboUC! Alexandro Carvacho had in the 24thth minute some difficulties stopping Gustav Tidéksson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Alexandro Carvacho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guntademaro Goyenechea in the 31st minute of the match. A collision led to TurboUC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Bernardino Larraín hit a great ball. Alexandro Carvacho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guntademaro Goyenechea, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After 46 played minutes, TurboUC's Bernardino Larraín shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rolf Holmgren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in TurboUC reached it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guntademaro Goyenechea was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Gustav Tidéksson made a precise shot to the right of Alexandro Carvacho. TurboUC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Guntademaro Goyenechea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandro Carvacho having to interfere. Alexandro Carvacho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guntademaro Goyenechea's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Jorge Vicente Squella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Jorge Vicente Squella got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, TurboUC's Alexandro Carvacho got control of the ball when Guntademaro Goyenechea tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of General Velásquez booed when TurboUC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Pimentel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexandro Carvacho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guntademaro Goyenechea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guntademaro Goyenechea took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexandro Carvacho. Alexandro Carvacho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Alexandro Carvacho came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by General Velásquez's Guntademaro Goyenechea. But to his dismay, Guntademaro Goyenechea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. 94 minutes into the match, Guntademaro Goyenechea notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of TurboUC's Alexandro Carvacho. Alexandro Carvacho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match was over General Velásquez could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than TurboUC throughout the match.
