An unexpectedly hard shot by Daud Gazale in the 6th minute of play forced TurboUC's goalkeeper Marino Brunet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Manilan hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Arturo Navarrete hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. When Clemente Dechent came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the TurboUC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clemente Dechent couldn't finish the play. A collision led to TurboUC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Zenaido Davison hit a great ball. The supporters of CSD Concepción booed when TurboUC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zenaido Davison didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquín Patron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marino Brunet having to interfere. Marino Brunet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daud Gazale, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After some careless play in the CSD Concepción defense, Xabel Vallejo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicolás Villamil. The CSD Concepción fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicolás Villamil should have stopped the shot. In the 28th minute Daud Gazale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marino Brunet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Daud Gazale ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marino Brunet was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 33 minutes into the match, TurboUC's goal looked a bit too open when Daud Gazale came free, but Marino Brunet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 minutes, Anastasio Santana-Bauzá mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TurboUC and the CSD Concepción players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, TurboUC's Anastasio Santana-Bauzá got a free kick in the 34th minute. A collision led to TurboUC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Xabel Vallejo hit a great ball. Joaquín Patron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 37 played minutes CSD Concepción got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Navarrete. Bernardino Larraín hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the match, Joaquín Patron notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of TurboUC's Marino Brunet. Marino Brunet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Mario Flores had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marino Brunet didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daud Gazale went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Marino Brunet was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Daud Gazale capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daud Gazale really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. 57 minutes into the game, Daud Gazale cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Marino Brunet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 60 minutes into the match, Joaquín Patron dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marino Brunet, 1-6. After a rather tough play, CSD Concepción's Chico Ortega got a free kick in the 63rd minute. When Erasmo Lacunza came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the CSD Concepción fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erasmo Lacunza couldn't finish the play. CSD Concepción's Erasmo Lacunza got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marino Brunet made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Erasmo Lacunza sent off a good shot on target. Marino Brunet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Lacunza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute of the match CSD Concepción got a corner. TurboUC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tor Tuga ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Erasmo Lacunza took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Marino Brunet to make any attempt to save it. In the 87th minute, CSD Concepción's Erasmo Lacunza dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-8. The supporters of TurboUC booed when CSD Concepción was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Flores didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, Mario Flores hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 97 minutes into the game, Erasmo Lacunza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-9. Marino Brunet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The TurboUC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. CSD Concepción were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
