In the 11th minute, Karlos Ahumada left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karlos Ahumada in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sandro Cavareda saved AFC Richmond from getting behind. After 38 minutes of play, SICARIOS Fútbol Club's Karlos Ahumada made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sandro Cavareda was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 42nd minute, AFC Richmond's Rafael Maria Cousiño seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rafael Maria Cousiño the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of AFC Richmond protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rafael Maria Cousiño had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 42nd minute, one of AFC Richmond:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AFC Richmond. In the 44th minute there was a penalty for SICARIOS Fútbol Club. Victor Hugo Tagle stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sandro Cavareda. 0-4. In the 47th minute of the match, Remicio Price tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Yerko Courtois saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dikdik Dik to make the kick off. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th match minute, SICARIOS Fútbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armin Arlet to maneuver through the defense. SICARIOS Fútbol Club's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
