The audience was convinced that Gonzalo Carneiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florin Quelia was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Gonzalo Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hugo Araya was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Joaquim Pereta showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. In the 15th minute Gonzalo Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florin Quelia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Golden Dragón F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Maurinho Arruda was slow to take the kick. During this time Nacional's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Nacional's corner Maurinho Arruda fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Florin Quelia quite easily take care of the ball. Florin Quelia came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Nacional's Gonzalo Carneiro. But to his dismay, Gonzalo Carneiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Luciano Inverso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Florin Quelia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Carneiro in the 27th minute of play. Hugo Araya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Pereta, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Florin Quelia came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Nacional's Gonzalo Carneiro. But to his dismay, Gonzalo Carneiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Gonzalo Carneiro scored 1-3 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Florin Quelia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 38th minute of the match, Rius Elvira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hugo Araya saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Carneiro in the 39th minute of play forced Golden Dragón F.C's goalkeeper Florin Quelia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gonzalo Carneiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florin Quelia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Florin Quelia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzalo Carneiro in the 42nd minute of the match. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Golden Dragón F.C! Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joaquim Pereta to strike the kick off in the second half. Florin Quelia came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Nacional's Gonzalo Carneiro. But to his dismay, Gonzalo Carneiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Gonzalo Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 58 minutes into the match, Golden Dragón F.C's goalkeeper Florin Quelia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gonzalo Carneiro. 59 minutes into the game, Chaime Alamon threw the ball into play from the sideline. Nacional's Mateo Antoni quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Nacional's attentive Mateo Antoni managed to snatch the ball when Chaime Alamon made a throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game. In the 65th minute, Luciano Inverso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gonzalo Carneiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Florin Quelia having to make a save. In the 71st minute, Gonzalo Carneiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Florin Quelia was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. Gonzalo Carneiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florin Quelia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gonzalo Carneiro ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Golden Dragón F.C's goalkeeper Florin Quelia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nacional were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Golden Dragón F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Maurinho Arruda took the corner. The corner ended in Maurinho Arruda almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Golden Dragón F.C's Florin Quelia did a great save. A collision led to Golden Dragón F.C getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Arsenio Lanzon hit a great ball. Chaime Alamon's late challenge caught a Nacional's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chaime Alamon helped the player get up and apologised. In the 80th match minute, Golden Dragón F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chaime Alamon to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the match, Golden Dragón F.C's goalkeeper Florin Quelia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gonzalo Carneiro. Gonzalo Carneiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Florin Quelia having to make a save.
