The audience thought a goal was coming when Larry Estoyanoff got free with Christovao Haces in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 6th match minute, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Elvira to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Club Dep. Soc. Rodo defense, Maxi Araujo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christovao Haces. The Club Dep. Soc. Rodo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christovao Haces should have stopped the shot. Christovao Haces made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxi Araujo in the 13th minute of play. Christovao Haces was a little too slow when Larry Estoyanoff got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 2-0. Laffitte Camino was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 18 minutes into the match. Frederick Navarro managed to trick Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's defense and made a shot which however Christovao Haces didn't slip through. A nice save in the 20thth minute. Christovao Haces made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benth Vedelsgaard in the 23rd minute. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Dacio Carcamo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alessandro Regueira in the 25 minute of the game. Christovao Haces made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxi Araujo in the 26th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Maxi Araujo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gonchan Marisancena kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After 34 minutes, Juan-Carlos Otero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Dep. Soc. Rodo and the Real de Carmelo 2021 FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Christovao Haces showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maxi Araujo in the 37th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goal looked a bit too open when Larry Estoyanoff came free, but Christovao Haces reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Christovao Haces proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Club Dep. Soc. Rodo from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Angelo Elvira hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Christovao Haces showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maxi Araujo, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Christovao Haces played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maxi Araujo in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Maxi Araujo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maxi Araujo got in the 61st a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Christovao Haces handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. A throw-in in the 69th minute of the game was made by Frederick Navarro with Serafín García as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 73 minutes into the match, Maxi Araujo notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Christovao Haces. Christovao Haces was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vasco Larrangos charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vasco Larrangos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Club Dep. Soc. Rodo getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Vasco Larrangos hit a great ball. Benth Vedelsgaard took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Christovao Haces. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Christovao Haces played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benth Vedelsgaard in the 81st minute of play. In the 84th minute Danel Belluga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christovao Haces saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Real de Carmelo 2021 FC booed when Club Dep. Soc. Rodo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan-Carlos Otero didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Danel Belluga fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's protests and gave Danel Belluga a yellow card for diving instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC fully deserved thier win.
