When Playa Malvín's Gauargi Molleda in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Playa Malvín's supporters crossed their fingers, but Efren Domao was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Playa Malvín's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Raul Villacian was slow to take the kick. During this time Austral FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Austral FC's corner Raul Villacian fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Erasto Quizan quite easily take care of the ball. Pelayo Villoldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Vogrinčič in the 30th minute of the match. Playa Malvín's Alberino Riesco quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Erdiano Espinareda, made in the 32nd minute of the game. 42 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's Enzo Vogrinčič sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pelayo Villoldo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Playa Malvín getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Vitaly Laletin hit a great ball. Pelayo Villoldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Vogrinčič in the 45th minute of play. The Austral FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Playa Malvín were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Pepillo Francia made the kick off in the second half. Austral FC's Pelayo Villoldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Austral FC from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Pelayo Villoldo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 60th match minute, Austral FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edur Estramiana to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute, Guilherme Oñez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alberino Riesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enzo Vogrinčič in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pelayo Villoldo saved Austral FC from getting behind. 74 minutes into the match, Austral FC's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Vogrinčič came free, but Pelayo Villoldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Pelayo Villoldo managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Playa Malvín's Enzo Vogrinčič fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pelayo Villoldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gauargi Molleda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Playa Malvín's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
