Zacarias Nazario was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Jonathan Antecha capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jonathan Antecha really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Joaquin Ispuzua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ederono Ojero in the 10th minute of play. Joaquin Ispuzua didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ederono Ojero went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 16 minutes into the match, Raitin Salvia notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Vanadio F.C.'s Joaquin Ispuzua. Joaquin Ispuzua was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 19 played minutes Vanadio F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ishmael Rico. In the 25th minute, Ederono Ojero made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Ispuzua. Vanadio F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. In the 28th match minute, Atletico Maturrango was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Traycho Keremidchiev to maneuver through the defense. Zacarias Nazario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Antecha in the 29th minute of play. Vanadio F.C. were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Atletico Maturrango's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Evaristo Gurruchaga took the corner. Vanadio F.C.'s Evaristo Gurruchaga was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zacarias Nazario in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Atletico Maturrango's Zacarias Nazario proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Atletico Maturrango from getting a goal against them. After the first half Atletico Maturrango were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Raitin Salvia made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Gonchan Gallego hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Antecha in the 61st minute of play forced Atletico Maturrango's goalkeeper Zacarias Nazario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Atletico Maturrango booed when Vanadio F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flor Rial didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquin Ispuzua made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ederono Ojero in the 68th minute. Atletico Maturrango's Zacarias Nazario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Peregrin in the 73rd minute of play. Raitin Salvia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vanadio F.C. made a substitution. Eden Hazar replaced Jonathan Antecha. Vanadio F.C.'s Joaquin Ispuzua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raitin Salvia in the 84th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Atletico Maturrango walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
