After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Gonchan Gallego managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico Maturrango's supporters rose to their feet, but Gonchan Gallego was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Txomin Rujido breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9th minute of the match, Ederono Ojero got a very nice opportunity to score, but Txomin Rujido was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 18 minutes into the match, Raitin Salvia dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Txomin Rujido, 1-0. Atletico Maturrango were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Traycho Keremidchiev took the corner. Narciso Chavarri took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zacarias Nazario. Zacarias Nazario dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Kai Havertz hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luo Cheng to strike the kick off in the second half. Raitin Salvia took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Txomin Rujido. Txomin Rujido dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. 55 minutes into the match, Raitin Salvia notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's Txomin Rujido. Txomin Rujido was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luo Cheng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Narciso Chavarri's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Zacarias Nazario skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Raitin Salvia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Txomin Rujido having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's Zhang Cheng Ping ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zacarias Nazario. Zacarias Nazario yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-3. Rodney Anievas kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Atletico Maturrango's goal looked a bit too open when Luo Cheng came free, but Zacarias Nazario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Atletico Maturrango's Zacarias Nazario got control of the ball when Narciso Chavarri tried to sneak it across the goal line. Raitin Salvia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luo Cheng in the 84th minute of play forced Atletico Maturrango's goalkeeper Zacarias Nazario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's Zacarias Nazario threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luo Cheng, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
