After some careless play in the Fohat Neyen defense, Osvaldo Peregrin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Etxeberri Benavides. The Fohat Neyen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Etxeberri Benavides should have stopped the shot. The Fohat Neyen players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vanadio F.C. were winning 1-2.

A collision led to Vanadio F.C. getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Osvaldo Peregrin hit a great ball. Derek Neyens blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquin Ispuzua having to make a save. The Fohat Neyen fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Fohat Neyen's Romelio Komar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal.
