The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. La Fusiion's Edwardo Giribet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vachon Blas in the 3rd minute of play. In the 9th minute, Vachon Blas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Laion Social Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Laion Social Club's Charro Velandia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Laion Social Club from getting a goal against them. Senin Cemborain charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Senin Cemborain the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th minute, Senin Cemborain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, La Fusiion's goal looked a bit too open when Lop Cabriada came free, but Edwardo Giribet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charro Velandia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Soliz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charro Velandia made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Donato Soliz sent off a good shot on target. Charro Velandia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Soliz, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Charro Velandia yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. After the first half Laion Social Club were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vachon Blas was the one to do the kick off. La Fusiion's Edwardo Giribet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vachon Blas in the 52nd minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Llanos Estela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. La Fusiion's Lucas Beyso got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hugo Matanza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charro Velandia having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Lop Cabriada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When La Fusiion's Lico Angulo in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Laion Social Club's goalie prevented a goal. Charro Velandia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Matanza in the 73rd minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, La Fusiion's goalkeeper Edwardo Giribet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lop Cabriada. The supporters of La Fusiion booed when Laion Social Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Txilar Negral didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute, Lico Angulo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Charro Velandia was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. 90 minutes into the match, Laion Social Club's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Matanza came free, but Charro Velandia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Senin Cemborain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Laion Social Club defense, Donato Soliz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Charro Velandia. The Laion Social Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Charro Velandia should have stopped the shot. La Fusiion's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
