Ile Manojlovski started the match with the kick off. The supporters of HIT Gorica booed when Red Bull Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Slavko Filimon didn't get a good kick on the ball. When HIT Gorica's Duško Turnšek in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 13th match minute, HIT Gorica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by CJ Desailly to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, HIT Gorica's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Lazarevski came free, but Konstantin Pančur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zlatko Goričan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Robert Manevski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. HIT Gorica's Antoni Zdrojewski got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Duško Turnšek scored 2-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robert Manevski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 28th match minute, HIT Gorica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by László Tar to maneuver through the defense. Konstantin Pančur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ile Manojlovski's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Zlatko Goričan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, Venancio Abalos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Robert Manevski. The goal made the score 3-0. In the 37th match minute, Red Bull Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bojan Daev to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as HIT Gorica's Zlatko Goričan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Robert Manevski. That made the score 5-0 after 41 minutes of play. Antoni Zdrojewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Manevski having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Duško Turnšek was the one to do the kick off. Duško Turnšek hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. The supporters of Red Bull Club booed when HIT Gorica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quentin Willmott didn't get a good kick on the ball. László Tar kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. If Antoni Zdrojewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Istok Šabotić made a precise shot to the right of Robert Manevski. Red Bull Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Robert Manevski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zlatko Goričan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 73 minutes of play, HIT Gorica's Istok Šabotić made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robert Manevski was left in no man's land by his defense there! HIT Gorica's Wlodzimierz Wlodyga was substituted for Jernej Petrovič. HIT Gorica made a substitution. Rastislav Tomič replaced Constantino Eguntsenti. Red Bull Club's Robert Manevski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Istok Šabotić in the 78th minute of play. Robert Manevski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Istok Šabotić in the 80th minute of the match. After 85 played minutes Red Bull Club got a freekick which was hit by Lirim Atanasovski. Zlatko Goričan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Manevski having to interfere. In the 92ndth minute of the game Zlatko Goričan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Red Bull Club's Robert Manevski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
