Luan Lopes didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 3rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. SAN DIEGO's Luan Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julien Anderle in the 6th minute of play. With a little luck, SAN DIEGO's Luan Lopes got control of the ball when Orlando Kutnjak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Francelj Kunstič's late challenge caught a SAN DIEGO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francelj Kunstič helped the player get up and apologised. Francelj Kunstič hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Samel Mudri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivek Majstorović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomir Werra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th match minute, Fajteri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francelj Kunstič to maneuver through the defense. Ivek Majstorović came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by SAN DIEGO's Menduh Georgievski. But to his dismay, Menduh Georgievski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. SAN DIEGO's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Stašo Šiler scored to the left of an out of position Luan Lopes, making the score, 2-1. Ivek Majstorović came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by SAN DIEGO's Menduh Georgievski. But to his dismay, Menduh Georgievski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Paskal Tasev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Stašo Šiler made the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Fajteri got a freekick which was hit by Apolonije Podobnik. Marsel Pečjak kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Menduh Georgievski in the 60th minute of play forced Fajteri's goalkeeper Ivek Majstorović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fajteri's Ivek Majstorović proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Fajteri from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Fajteri's Ivek Majstorović got control of the ball when Agustin Tomi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the SAN DIEGO defense, Stašo Šiler kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luan Lopes. The SAN DIEGO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luan Lopes should have stopped the shot. After having played for 72 minutes, Julien Anderle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fajteri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julien Anderle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fajteri's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Radomir Werra scored to the left of an out of position Ivek Majstorović, making the score, 3-4. In the 82nd match minute, SAN DIEGO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florencio Urdin to maneuver through the defense. SAN DIEGO played a much better game than Fajteri and deserved their victory. The Fajteri players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
