Spectators: 166 (Terracing: 125, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Miklós Bogdán made the kick off which started today's match. In the 6th minute Miklós Bogdán shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but István Földes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Szajk LC's Siniša Mihajlović slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of István Földes. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. In the 17th minute János Döbrögi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Özdemir Babayiğit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. István Földes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Csanád Sipos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Szajk LC's Csanád Sipos got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ferenc Boros's late challenge caught a Szajk LC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferenc Boros helped the player get up and apologised. Ferenc Boros kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. If Siniša Mihajlović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. István Földes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miklós Bogdán in the 29th minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Miklós Bogdán recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of István Földes. Miklós Bogdán showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Gyál United's zone, Obi Neba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. István Földes came out of the goal and Obi Neba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miklós Bogdán sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the match, Csanád Sipos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of István Földes. Gyál United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Csanád Sipos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Miklós Bogdán managed to get in a good position for a shot. Szajk LC's supporters rose to their feet, but Miklós Bogdán was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. István Földes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. János Döbrögi was the one to do the kick off. When Szajk LC's Miklós Bogdán in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gyál United's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Gyál United getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Imre Matolcsy hit a great ball. István Földes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miklós Bogdán, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Siniša Mihajlović came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Szajk LC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Siniša Mihajlović couldn't finish the play. Miklós Bogdán's late challenge caught a Gyál United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miklós Bogdán helped the player get up and apologised. After 62 played minutes Szajk LC got a freekick which was hit by Miklós Bogdán. After 64 minutes, Csanád Sipos made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Gyál United's István Földes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Gyál United defense, Miklós Bogdán kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of István Földes. The Gyál United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that István Földes should have stopped the shot. In the 72nd minute, Miklós Bogdán left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Szajk LC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Özdemir Babayiğit made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Róbert Vajda sent off a good shot on target. István Földes came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Szajk LC's Miklós Bogdán. But to his dismay, Miklós Bogdán quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. In the 80th minute, Miklós Bogdán left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Szajk LC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. When Miklós Bogdán came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Szajk LC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miklós Bogdán couldn't finish the play. Siniša Mihajlović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 89 minutes into the match, Gyál United's goal looked a bit too open when Miklós Bogdán came free, but István Földes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Miklós Bogdán ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. István Földes was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Szajk LC had played much better football throughout.
