The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th match minute, Dombiratosi Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zsolt Sebes to maneuver through the defense. Heiki Uustal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Balázs Nagy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. After 9th play minutes Márton Gombos shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Balázs Nagy and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 12th minute, Dombiratosi Football Club's Lukács Faragó ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Klas Collin. Klas Collin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Alfréd Rácz kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Balázs Nagy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Márton Gombos in the 22nd minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Márton Gombos made a precise shot to the right of Balázs Nagy. Dombiratosi Football Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Klas Collin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukács Faragó, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Sporting Savaria booed when Dombiratosi Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fülöp Nagy didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Kálmán Kertész's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Klas Collin was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. In the 69th minute, Vyacheslav Chuprinov reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Balázs Nagy. The goal made the score 2-3. In a very dangerous position, a player in Dombiratosi Football Club fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 74th minute. Penalty! In the 77th minute there was a penalty for Sporting Savaria. Heiki Uustal stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Balázs Nagy. 2-4. In the 80th match minute, Dombiratosi Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sándor Kárpáthy to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Dombiratosi Football Club's zone, Adorján Mónos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Balázs Nagy came out of the goal and Adorján Mónos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sporting Savaria's Klas Collin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukács Faragó in the 90th minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Dombiratosi Football Club's Máté Komáromi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Klas Collin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sporting Savaria had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
