Patrik Almási sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Csabagyöngye's Rafael Erdei got a free kick in the 6th minute. Szolnoki MÁV's Ottó Szántó played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Csaba Kálmán in the 8th minute of play. The supporters of Csabagyöngye booed when Szolnoki MÁV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gusztáv Balla didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Szolnoki MÁV getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Csanád Újvári hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the game, György Kaszás recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jeromos Bártfai. György Kaszás showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The supporters of Szolnoki MÁV booed when Csabagyöngye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakab Kováts didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Szolnoki MÁV's Csanád Újvári broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pál Bakos in the 20th minute of play forced Szolnoki MÁV's goalkeeper Ottó Szántó to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Szolnoki MÁV's goal looked a bit too open when Nándor Pécsi came free, but Ottó Szántó reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 27 played minutes Csabagyöngye got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Erdei. After 28 played minutes Szolnoki MÁV got a freekick which was hit by Patrik Almási. Csaba Kálmán hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Csabagyöngye's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Csanád Újvári was slow to take the kick. During this time Szolnoki MÁV's players had a chance to rest. Szolnoki MÁV's Csanád Újvári was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jeromos Bártfai in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Emesto Muñagorri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Jeromos Bártfai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Árpád Benkô's late challenge caught a Szolnoki MÁV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Árpád Benkô helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th minute, Emesto Muñagorri reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jeromos Bártfai. The goal made the score 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 52nd play minutes Patrik Almási shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Jeromos Bártfai and just under the crossbar into goal. Ottó Szántó made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nándor Pécsi in the 59th minute of play. Szolnoki MÁV's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Áron Erőss scored to the left of an out of position Ottó Szántó, making the score, 3-1. In the 64th minute, Áron Erőss left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Csabagyöngye fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. After 67 played minutes Szolnoki MÁV got a freekick which was hit by Lukács Antal. Áron Erőss recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Csabagyöngye getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Attila Kardos hit a great ball. Csabagyöngye's Jeromos Bártfai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emesto Muñagorri in the 78th minute of play. Csaba Kálmán fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ottó Szántó having to interfere. Bálint Simon hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After having played for 84 minutes, Áron Erőss managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Csabagyöngye's supporters crossed their fingers, but Áron Erőss was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 85 minutes into the game, Attila Kardos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Csabagyöngye's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Szolnoki MÁV the free kick. Csaba Kálmán hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Jeromos Bártfai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Almási, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute, Bálint Kerekes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roland Varga kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Csabagyöngye players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Szolnoki MÁV.
