When Mátyás Benke came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Várdomb fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mátyás Benke couldn't finish the play. Lajos Jakó hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Mihály Csontos's late challenge caught a Várdomb's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mihály Csontos helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Várdomb booed when Szombathely Squirrels was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihály Csontos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lajos Kossuth in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gusztáv Jászberényi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 9 minutes into the match, Mátyás Benke dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gusztáv Jászberényi, 1-0. Zsolt Vörös's late challenge caught a Várdomb's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zsolt Vörös helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Szombathely Squirrels getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Zsolt Vörös hit a great ball. Lajos Kossuth was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 15th minute. Várdomb's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 15th minute, Várdomb's Lajos Kossuth ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gusztáv Jászberényi. Gusztáv Jászberényi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Endre Zádor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Gusztáv Jászberényi made a huge save. In the 21st minute, Attila Gerebics hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gusztáv Jászberényi was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jeromos Bartha. Mátyás Benke received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gusztáv Jászberényi came out and tried to block the shot, but Mátyás Benke slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 23rd minute. Mátyás Benke took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gusztáv Jászberényi. Gusztáv Jászberényi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Szilárd Csikós kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Várdomb's Lajos Kossuth slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gusztáv Jászberényi. That made the score 5-0 after 32 minutes of play. In the 35th minute, Dénes Boross made a precise shot to the right of Juste Gilmore. Várdomb's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Mátyás Benkes short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Gusztáv Jászberényi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 39 minutes into the match, Lajos Kossuth dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gusztáv Jászberényi, 6-1. In the 44thth minute of the game Lajos Kossuth who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Szombathely Squirrels's Gusztáv Jászberényi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bálint Tulipán received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gusztáv Jászberényi came out and tried to block the shot, but Bálint Tulipán slotted it home off the left post making it 7-1 in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-1.

The wind increased when Dénes Boross made the kick off in the second half. Gusztáv Jászberényi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mátyás Benke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gusztáv Jászberényi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andor Pécsi in the 52nd minute of the match. Gusztáv Jászberényi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mátyás Benke went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-1 was the resulting score. Dénes Boross could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Juste Gilmore made a huge save. Szilárd Csikós kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Várdomb's corner Bálint Tulipán fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gusztáv Jászberényi quite easily take care of the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Lajos Kossuth cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-1. Gusztáv Jászberényi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Várdomb's János Hámori was substituted for Endre Zádor. When Szilárd Csikós fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Szombathely Squirrels's protests and gave Szilárd Csikós a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Várdomb booed when Szombathely Squirrels was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Szilárd Csikós didn't get a good kick on the ball. Péter Dénes kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Juste Gilmore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Attila Gerebics in the 95th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Várdomb had played much better football throughout.
