Spectators: 193 (Terracing: 146, Seating: 44, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Balázs Pálinkás kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute, Nimród Vadász hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dénes Boross fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without József Bozsik having to interfere. Gusztáv Jászberényi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedek Soós in the 11th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Szombathely Squirrels's goal looked a bit too open when Sándor Czakó came free, but Gusztáv Jászberényi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 played minutes Vérsárkány SE got a freekick which was hit by Benedek Soós. After 19 minutes of play, Szombathely Squirrels's Balázs Pálinkás made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. József Bozsik was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Vérsárkány SE's József Bozsik got control of the ball when Balázs Pálinkás tried to sneak it across the goal line. József Bozsik made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Balázs Pálinkás sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Balázs Pálinkás managed to get in a good position for a shot. Szombathely Squirrels's supporters rose to their feet, but Balázs Pálinkás was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. József Bozsik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. György Pataky kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Ferenc Jászberényi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for József Bozsik. Vérsárkány SE's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 44thth minute of the game Balázs Pálinkás who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vérsárkány SE's József Bozsik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 47th minute, György Pataky hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sándor Czakó was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes Vérsárkány SE got a freekick which was hit by Ákos Pálfi. In the 58th minute, Szilárd Csikós left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Szombathely Squirrels fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. After 61 played minutes Szombathely Squirrels got a freekick which was hit by Dániel Szabadi. In the 64th minute, Nimród Vadász hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 66 minutes of play, Szombathely Squirrels's Szilárd Csikós made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. József Bozsik was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 69 minutes, Benedek Soós managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vérsárkány SE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedek Soós was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Szombathely Squirrels's goalkeeper Gusztáv Jászberényi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lajos Kárpáti. After 76 minutes, Ákos Pálfi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vérsárkány SE and the Szombathely Squirrels players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Szombathely Squirrels booed when Vérsárkány SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ákos Pálfi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute, Balázs Pálinkás got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 82ndth minute of the game Szilárd Csikós who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vérsárkány SE's József Bozsik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 88 minutes into the game, Szilárd Csikós cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. József Bozsik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. József Bozsik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zsolt Vörös, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vérsárkány SE's József Bozsik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Szilárd Csikós in the 92nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sándor Czakó got free with Gusztáv Jászberényi in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
