Benedek Lantos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Soma Pálinkás in the 4th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Red Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Soma Pálinkás came free, but Benedek Lantos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patrik Simon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Benedek Lantos made a huge save. Red Devils's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Gábor György scored to the left of an out of position Benedek Lantos, making the score, 2-0. A collision led to Zalasárszeg OSE getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Patrik Simon hit a great ball. Zalasárszeg OSE's Alfréd Kállay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by József Koczka in the 33rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Soma Pálinkás's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benedek Lantos was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Benedek Lantos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Soma Pálinkás, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Benedek Lantos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gábor György, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Zalasárszeg OSE's Soma Pálinkás sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benedek Lantos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Soma Pálinkás's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benedek Lantos was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Patrik Simon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Benedek Lantos made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Richárd Zakariás blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benedek Lantos having to make a save. In the 57th minute Patrik Simon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedek Lantos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Zalasárszeg OSE fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Zalasárszeg OSE's Soma Pálinkás looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sándor Csorba hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Soma Pálinkás in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benedek Lantos saved Red Devils from getting behind. If István Csongrádi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Red Devils defense, Patrik Simon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benedek Lantos. The Red Devils fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benedek Lantos should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Soma Pálinkás in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benedek Lantos saved Red Devils from getting behind. A collision led to Zalasárszeg OSE getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Gábor György hit a great ball. Soma Pálinkás took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benedek Lantos. Benedek Lantos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Zalasárszeg OSE's Patrik Simon got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, Soma Pálinkás had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benedek Lantos. Red Devils's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Soma Pálinkás was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Benedek Lantos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrik Simon in the 92nd minute of play. Lajos Szeszák kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Soma Pálinkás managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zalasárszeg OSE's supporters rose to their feet, but Soma Pálinkás was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benedek Lantos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Red Devils players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Zalasárszeg OSE.
