Spectators: 177 (Terracing: 133, Seating: 41, VIP seats: 3) FC Lions Levice's Pedro Ochoa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, ŠK Horelica's goalkeeper Vladimír Žemľa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Ochoa. If Daniel Tischler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th match minute, ŠK Horelica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jozef Ondruš to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute Pedro Ochoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimír Žemľa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Lions Levice's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pavol Hospodár in the 15th minute. 19 minutes into the game, FC Lions Levice's Gejza Švehla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vladimír Žemľa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Vladimír Žemľa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Gedeon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, ŠK Horelica's Vladimír Žemľa got control of the ball when Gejza Švehla tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ezequiel Seber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stano Grman in the 24th minute of play. Vladimír Žemľa came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Lions Levice's Gejza Švehla. But to his dismay, Gejza Švehla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Daniel Tischler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Vladimír Žemľa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gejza Švehla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vladimír Žemľa having to make a save. 33 minutes into the match, ŠK Horelica's goal looked a bit too open when Gejza Švehla came free, but Vladimír Žemľa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to ŠK Horelica getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Tomáš Lapár hit a great ball. Ezequiel Seber stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jozef Višňa's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. 40 minutes into the match, ŠK Horelica's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Gedeon came free, but Vladimír Žemľa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, ŠK Horelica's Richard Weber got a free kick in the 44th minute. Pavol Hospodár could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Vladimír Žemľa made a huge save. Vladimír Žemľa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Tischler in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Gejza Švehla in the 52nd minute of play forced ŠK Horelica's goalkeeper Vladimír Žemľa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Lions Levice booed when ŠK Horelica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miroslav Vašáry didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Pedro Ochoa came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the FC Lions Levice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Ochoa couldn't finish the play. After 57 minutes of play, FC Lions Levice's Pedro Ochoa made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vladimír Žemľa was left in no man's land by his defense there! 66 minutes into the match, Pedro Ochoa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vladimír Žemľa. ŠK Horelica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Ochoa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. After 68 minutes, Pedro Ochoa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Lions Levice and the ŠK Horelica players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of ŠK Horelica booed when FC Lions Levice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Ochoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Tischler scored 6-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vladimír Žemľa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vladimír Žemľa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 79th minute, Klement Špilár ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vladimír Žemľa was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Pavol Hospodár took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vladimír Žemľa. ŠK Horelica's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of FC Lions Levice booed when ŠK Horelica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jozef Ondruš didn't get a good kick on the ball. ŠK Horelica's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
