The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 10 minutes, Mojmír Polc mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC DNV Bratiskava and the ŠK Horelica players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mojmír Polc kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, ŠK Horelica's Jozef Koštialik sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomáš Zednikovič narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 19th minute Jozef Koštialik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomáš Zednikovič saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bohuš Dačev in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vladimír Žemľa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jozef Višňa in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomáš Zednikovič saved FC DNV Bratiskava from getting behind. In the 23rd minute, Tibor Partil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, Jozef Višňa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomáš Zednikovič. FC DNV Bratiskava's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jozef Višňa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. FC DNV Bratiskava's Tomáš Zednikovič played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jozef Koštialik in the 29th minute of play. Jozef Koštialik struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Tomáš Zednikovič didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ŠK Horelica. Tomáš Zednikovič made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jozef Višňa in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, FC DNV Bratiskava's goal looked a bit too open when Jozef Koštialik came free, but Tomáš Zednikovič reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Jozef Koštialik left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ŠK Horelica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Tomáš Zednikovič showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jozef Višňa, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute Martin Futej suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. After 46 minutes, Adam Husák mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC DNV Bratiskava and the ŠK Horelica players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of ŠK Horelica booed when FC DNV Bratiskava was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Husák didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomáš Lapár charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bohuš Dačev in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vladimír Žemľa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. ŠK Horelica's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
