A collision led to FC Melon getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Miroslav Koceľa hit a great ball. After 4 minutes, Michal Hvorecký made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. FK Mazda Svidník's Bernard Lukáčik tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michal Hvorecký in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernard Lukáčik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matej Maťašovský during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When FC Melon's Michal Hvorecký in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FK Mazda Svidník's goalie prevented a goal. Matúš Hnilica hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, FC Melon's Gregor Opatovský got a free kick in the 15th minute. FK Mazda Svidník's Bernard Lukáčik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Starší in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Michal Hvorecký ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernard Lukáčik was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Matúš Mertel scored 0-4 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernard Lukáčik, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bernard Lukáčik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregor Opatovský, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Bernard Lukáčik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matúš Mertel in the 32nd minute of the match. FC Melon's Edgar Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gejza Petráš in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Matúš Mertel notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of FK Mazda Svidník's Bernard Lukáčik. Bernard Lukáčik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Peter Starší took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernard Lukáčik. Bernard Lukáčik dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. FK Mazda Svidník's Bernard Lukáčik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregor Opatovský in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Imrich Abrahamfy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Richard Sciranka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Bernard Lukáčik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matej Maťašovský was the one to do the kick off. Miroslav Koceľa struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Bernard Lukáčik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Melon. Miroslav Koceľa scored 0-7 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernard Lukáčik, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Michal Hvorecký sped through FK Mazda Svidník's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bernard Lukáčik. FC Melon's Peter Ďurica was substituted for Gregor Opatovský. In the 59th minute Richard Sciranka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernard Lukáčik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the FK Mazda Svidník defense, Michal Hvorecký kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernard Lukáčik. The FK Mazda Svidník fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernard Lukáčik should have stopped the shot. If Richard Sciranka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 66th match minute, FC Melon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Ďurica to maneuver through the defense. Bernard Lukáčik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matúš Mertel in the 72nd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Bernard Lukáčik successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Bernard Lukáčik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Sciranka, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michal Hvorecký in the 81st minute of play forced FK Mazda Svidník's goalkeeper Bernard Lukáčik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peter Starší fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernard Lukáčik having to interfere. The supporters of FC Melon booed when FK Mazda Svidník was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gejza Petráš didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernard Lukáčik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michal Hvorecký's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Bernard Lukáčik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Ďurica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Róbert Verný during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Róbert Verný kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. When Michal Hvorecký came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the FC Melon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michal Hvorecký couldn't finish the play. Bernard Lukáčik stood somewhat misplaced when Michal Hvorecký came free in front of goal and shot 0-10 to the left of him in the 96 minute. FC Melon's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
