Nevşehirspor's Goliath Phoenix quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nuh Sadreddin, made in the 2nd minute of the game. Görkem Büyükada received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rüştü Recber came out and tried to block the shot, but Görkem Büyükada slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. Nuh Sadreddin got a throw-in 12 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Mirza Yazargil. Leonard Gregersen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rahim Sidam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yaşar Akbuğ in the 17th minute of play forced Nevşehirspor's goalkeeper Leonard Gregersen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonard Gregersen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rahim Sidam in the 18th minute of play. Leonard Gregersen came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by HORIZZONT's Rahim Sidam. But to his dismay, Rahim Sidam quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Nevşehirspor's Goliath Phoenix managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Nuh Sadreddin in the 20 minute of the game. Rüştü Recber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Görkem Büyükada in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Nevşehirspor's goal looked a bit too open when Arif Babürşah came free, but Leonard Gregersen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emilian Bâlea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Rüştü Recber made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arif Babürşah in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonard Gregersen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nevşehirspor's Leonard Gregersen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rahim Sidam in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Görkem Büyükada in the 30th minute of play forced HORIZZONT's goalkeeper Rüştü Recber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rüştü Recber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Görkem Büyükada in the 35th minute of the match. Rüştü Recber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Görkem Büyükada, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Yaşar Akbuğ scored 2-2 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonard Gregersen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emilian Bâlea was the one to do the kick off. Rüştü Recber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gao Xi Di in the 51st minute of play. In the 54th minute Emilian Bâlea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rüştü Recber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonard Gregersen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yaşar Akbuğ in the 55th minute of the match. Rüştü Recber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilian Bâlea in the 57th minute of play. HORIZZONT's Rüştü Recber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilian Bâlea in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Babürşah in the 59th minute of play forced Nevşehirspor's goalkeeper Leonard Gregersen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erkut Yatuk was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 65 minutes into the match. Nevşehirspor made a substitution. Raşit Güleç replaced Emilian Bâlea. 65 minutes into the game, one of HORIZZONT:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Nevşehirspor a penalty, 68 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Goliath Phoenix, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of HORIZZONT's Rüştü Recber. 3-2. Ahmet Paşa took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rüştü Recber. Rüştü Recber dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. The supporters of Nevşehirspor booed when HORIZZONT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rahim Sidam didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes into the game, Ahmet Paşa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Rüştü Recber was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 87th minute, Gao Xi Di made a precise shot to the right of Rüştü Recber. HORIZZONT's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-2. 90 minutes into the match, Ahmet Paşa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rüştü Recber. HORIZZONT's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ahmet Paşa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-2. 97 minutes into the game, Nevşehirspor's Raşit Güleç nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rüştü Recber made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-2.
