If Görkem Büyükada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eralp Saltuk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Görkem Büyükada in the 40th minute of the match. Nevşehirspor's Görkem Büyükada got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emilian Bâlea in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eralp Saltuk saved sirince from getting behind. After the first half Nevşehirspor were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience was convinced that Ahmet Paşa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eralp Saltuk was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Barış Ocakçı's late challenge caught a Nevşehirspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
