The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Goliath Phoenix kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Yağızalp Günden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Paşa in the 5th minute of play. Yağızalp Günden had in the 7thth minute some difficulties stopping Goliath Phoenix's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 13 minutes into the match, CİCERO's goalkeeper Yağızalp Günden had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emilian Bâlea. Yağızalp Günden made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Paşa in the 14th minute. In the 20thth minute of the game Ahmet Necdet Yunus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nevşehirspor's Leonard Gregersen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emilian Bâlea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yağızalp Günden having to interfere. After taking down the ball on Nevşehirspor's corner Emre Mor fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Yağızalp Günden quite easily take care of the ball. In the 34th minute Emilian Bâlea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yağızalp Günden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yağızalp Günden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilian Bâlea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonard Gregersen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taner Tuğkan in the 38th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Paşa in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yağızalp Günden saved CİCERO from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Nevşehirspor's Ahmet Paşa got a free kick in the 43rd minute. When Nevşehirspor's Ahmet Paşa in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CİCERO's goalie prevented a goal. Emre Mor ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Emre Mor almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but CİCERO's Yağızalp Günden did a great save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Paşa in the 57th minute of play forced CİCERO's goalkeeper Yağızalp Günden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, CİCERO's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Paşa came free, but Yağızalp Günden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61stth minute of the game Ahmet Necdet Yunus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nevşehirspor's Leonard Gregersen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ahmet Paşa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonard Gregersen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Hamit Saye, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, CİCERO's goal looked a bit too open when Emilian Bâlea came free, but Yağızalp Günden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ender Pekinturk hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Nevşehirspor's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
