The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hüseyin Cahit Akkoç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nazil Sağlamtürk, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Hüseyin Cahit Akkoç didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nazil Sağlamtürk went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Nazil Sağlamtürk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Hüseyin Cahit Akkoç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nazil Sağlamtürk might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hüseyin Cahit Akkoç. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hüseyin Cahit Akkoç came out of the goal and Nazil Sağlamtürk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The FC KALELİ fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when FC KALELİ's Nazil Sağlamtürk looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nazil Sağlamtürk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hüseyin Cahit Akkoç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nazil Sağlamtürk in the 35th minute of play. Atilla Özerdem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hüseyin Cahit Akkoç having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Nazil Sağlamtürk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hüseyin Cahit Akkoç was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Atilla Özerdem took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hüseyin Cahit Akkoç. MALATYASPOR's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of MALATYASPOR:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC KALELİ:s goal. When Atilla Özerdem came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the FC KALELİ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atilla Özerdem couldn't finish the play. Nazil Sağlamtürk struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Hüseyin Cahit Akkoç didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC KALELİ. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nazil Sağlamtürk in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hüseyin Cahit Akkoç prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC KALELİ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
