Şemsettin Tanaltay had in the 39thth minute some difficulties stopping Bülent Korkmaz's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The supporters of Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ booed when Valar morghulis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bülent Korkmaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After 51 played minutes Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ got a freekick which was hit by Gökay Özakıncı. The supporters of Valar morghulis booed when Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orhan Dalan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th match minute, Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ömer Rıza Zeyrek to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute, İsmail Bilgin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 74th minute Abdulvahit Sağlam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şemsettin Tanaltay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute Valar morghulis were awarded a corner. Bülent Korkmaz went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Witold Zbydniewski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Şemsettin Tanaltay did a great save. Witold Zbydniewski hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Abdulsamet Brothers kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
