Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Koray Tibet got the match started through his kick off. Gökmen Çoğa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ertan Nuralp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Koray Tibet kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving İlhami Muhittin. That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. After having played for 14 minutes, Ertan Nuralp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KOCAELİSPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ertan Nuralp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16thth minute of the game Ertan Nuralp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Çanakkale's Gökmen Çoğa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. İlhami Muhittin made an important save on a dangerous shot by İsmail Cem Eroğlu in the 17th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when İsmail Cem Eroğlu got free with İlhami Muhittin in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, KOCAELİSPOR's Ali Faruk Hasanoğlu got a free kick in the 18th minute. The supporters of KOCAELİSPOR booed when Çanakkale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Koray Tibet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Çanakkale's Gökmen Çoğa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ertan Nuralp in the 25th minute of play. KOCAELİSPOR's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Koray Tibet scored to the left of an out of position İlhami Muhittin, making the score, 2-0. When Ali Faruk Hasanoğlu fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KOCAELİSPOR's protests and gave Ali Faruk Hasanoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to KOCAELİSPOR getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Ali Faruk Hasanoğlu hit a great ball. KOCAELİSPOR's attentive Nazım Ruhsat managed to snatch the ball when Sami Nahit made a throw-in in the 38th minute of the game. When KOCAELİSPOR's Ertan Nuralp in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Çanakkale's goalie prevented a goal. 43 minutes into the match, KOCAELİSPOR's goalkeeper İlhami Muhittin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by İsmail Cem Eroğlu. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ertan Nuralp to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes, Ertan Nuralp made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Çanakkale's Gökmen Çoğa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gökmen Çoğa was a little too slow when Ertan Nuralp got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 2-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Ertan Nuralp managed to get in a good position for a shot. KOCAELİSPOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Ertan Nuralp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gökmen Çoğa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gökmen Çoğa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ertan Nuralp in the 72nd minute of play. The supporters of Çanakkale booed when KOCAELİSPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eser İmamoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ali Haydar Uçkun came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Çanakkale fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Haydar Uçkun couldn't finish the play. Koray Tibet, 77 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 81st minute, KOCAELİSPOR's Ertan Nuralp ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gökmen Çoğa. Gökmen Çoğa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Ertan Nuralp took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Gökmen Çoğa to make any attempt to save it. After 97 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Çanakkale! When the match had been going on for 98 minutes, KOCAELİSPOR's Eser İmamoğlu got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Gökmen Çoğa. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. KOCAELİSPOR had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
