When Ahmet Reha Helvacı was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 18 minutes had been played. In a very dangerous position, a player in KOCAELİSPOR fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! İlhami Muhittin had in the 42ndth minute some difficulties stopping Brayden McPaul's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ertan Nuralp made a kick off. Brayden McPaul hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 52nd minute of the match Hulusi Hazret sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kamer Akalın skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ali Emir Servet got free with İlhami Muhittin in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th minute Salih Çapan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İlhami Muhittin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. İlhami Muhittin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mehmet Ferit Karaca in the 62nd minute.
