Vedat Arslanoğlu started the match with the kick off. Cengiz Bozbey made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Mauro Icardi sent off a good shot on target. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lions Of Turks's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bektaş Ali Tanyıldız was slow to take the kick. During this time Fizimar's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Bektaş Ali Tanyıldız got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cengiz Bozbey quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 6th minute, Vedat Arslanoğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kamuran Bağdaş was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Cengiz Bozbey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulu Cinel, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Cengiz Bozbey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bektaş Ali Tanyıldız in the 15th minute of the match. After 19 minutes of play, Lions Of Turks's Vedat Arslanoğlu made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kamuran Bağdaş was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lions Of Turks's Doctor Özcakir managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Kılıç Yatuk in the 31 minute of the game. 32 minutes into the match, Fizimar's goal looked a bit too open when Vedat Arslanoğlu came free, but Kamuran Bağdaş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Fizimar defense, Vedat Arslanoğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kamuran Bağdaş. The Fizimar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kamuran Bağdaş should have stopped the shot. Tony Palmeira struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Kamuran Bağdaş didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lions Of Turks. Bektaş Ali Tanyıldız kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After 46 minutes, Göksun Onurhan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fizimar and the Lions Of Turks players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fizimar! In the 47th minute there was a penalty for Lions Of Turks. Gunnsteinn Guðbjörnsson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kamuran Bağdaş. 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Ulu Cinel made the kick off in the second half. Lions Of Turks's Cengiz Bozbey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulu Cinel in the 59th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Doctor Özcakir during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Doctor Özcakir hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fizimar's goalkeeper Kamuran Bağdaş, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Lions Of Turks booed when Fizimar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Göksun Onurhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Fizimar getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Kılıç Yatuk hit a great ball. In the 78th minute, Özgün Kaan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Doctor Özcakir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fizimar's Kamuran Bağdaş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vedat Arslanoğlu in the 83rd minute of play. Vedat Arslanoğlu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kamuran Bağdaş having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vedat Arslanoğlu in the 84th minute of play forced Fizimar's goalkeeper Kamuran Bağdaş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gencay Akbayrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
