In the 6th minute Namık Kemal Kutlay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hulki Bulut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SOFiNiN KEDiSi's Lütfü Tanbolat got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Taha Arıkhan during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of SOFiNiN KEDiSi booed when BAŞBUĞ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kayacan Rezan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as SOFiNiN KEDiSi's Lütfü Tanbolat slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hulki Bulut. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. Namık Kemal Kutlay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hulki Bulut having to interfere. When Namık Kemal Kutlay came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the SOFiNiN KEDiSi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Namık Kemal Kutlay couldn't finish the play. Cícero das Neves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mehmet Arif Serir having to make a save. When Bedih Suerdem fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BAŞBUĞ's protests and gave Bedih Suerdem a yellow card for diving instead. After 32 played minutes BAŞBUĞ got a freekick which was hit by Bedih Suerdem. Hulki Bulut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lütfü Tanbolat in the 34th minute of the match. Cícero das Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lütfü Tanbolat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Hulki Bulut made a huge save. Hulki Bulut made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lütfü Tanbolat in the 43rd minute. After 46 minutes of play, BAŞBUĞ's Cícero das Neves made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mehmet Arif Serir was left in no man's land by his defense there! The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 58th match minute, SOFiNiN KEDiSi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Asım Şensal to maneuver through the defense. Gökalp Koca hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. When Pekin Serdar fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BAŞBUĞ's protests and gave Pekin Serdar a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to BAŞBUĞ getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Pekin Serdar hit a great ball. In the 63rd match minute, SOFiNiN KEDiSi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lütfü Tanbolat to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute, Lütfü Tanbolat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Cícero das Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot. BAŞBUĞ's supporters rose to their feet, but Cícero das Neves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mehmet Arif Serir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 68 minutes of play, SOFiNiN KEDiSi's Lütfü Tanbolat made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hulki Bulut was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lütfü Tanbolat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ali Asım Şensal got his second yellow card in the match during the 72nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 73 played minutes SOFiNiN KEDiSi got a freekick which was hit by Ali Asım Şensal. After having played for 85 minutes, Cícero das Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BAŞBUĞ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cícero das Neves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 87 minutes, Gökalp Koca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BAŞBUĞ and the SOFiNiN KEDiSi players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gökalp Koca kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Hulki Bulut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Namık Kemal Kutlay, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. SOFiNiN KEDiSi were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after BAŞBUĞ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Oğuzhan Özguven took the corner. The corner ended in Oğuzhan Özguven almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but BAŞBUĞ's Hulki Bulut did a great save. Lütfü Tanbolat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hulki Bulut having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gökalp Koca in the 96th minute of play forced SOFiNiN KEDiSi's goalkeeper Mehmet Arif Serir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SOFiNiN KEDiSi fans cheered their team off the field, for while BAŞBUĞ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
