Spectators: 148 (Terracing: 112, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Orçun Baloğlu got the match started through his kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 7 minutes into the game, when Hamza Mutlusoy put in a rough tackle. In the 7th minute, Hamza Mutlusoy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hacı Hastimur blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Volkan Demirel having to make a save. Volkan Demirel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hacı Hastimur showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. In the 13th match minute, TunaFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Necati Revnak to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 21 minutes, Ali Behzat Kayacan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TunaFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Behzat Kayacan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Çakır Şiraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Çakır Şiraz managed to get in a good position for a shot. TunaFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Çakır Şiraz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mehmet Şefik Balcan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. TunaFC's Volkan Demirel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orçun Baloğlu in the 29th minute of play. Edip Kelami hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Newells Old Boys's Hacı Hastimur got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th match minute, TunaFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bahadırhan Mertkan to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A collision led to TunaFC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Bahadırhan Mertkan hit a great ball. Baturhan Özerek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Mehmet Şefik Balcan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. TunaFC's Volkan Demirel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mevlüt Zeyrek in the 64th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Newells Old Boys's Hacı Hastimur got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Newells Old Boys's goalkeeper Mehmet Şefik Balcan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zikri Temizcan kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. The throw-in from Oğuzalp Baştürk in the 74th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by TunaFC's Edip Kelami. Baturhan Özerek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Şefik Balcan having to interfere. In the 82nd minute Orçun Baloğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Volkan Demirel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. TunaFC's Volkan Demirel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hacı Hastimur in the 84th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Çetin Elçibey had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Volkan Demirel. TunaFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Çetin Elçibey was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Mevlüt Zeyrek took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Volkan Demirel. Volkan Demirel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Newells Old Boys were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of TunaFC for a fine match.
