In the 9th minute of the match, Kürşat Nazir got a very nice opportunity to score, but Yalçın Olgunay was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 9 played minutes Blue Mountain State got a freekick which was hit by Nuralp Şahinkan. In the 10th minute of the match Kürşat Nazir shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yalçın Olgunay showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Erdoğan Çetinay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Muhsin Taze, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Erdoğan Çetinay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Kaká, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th match minute, Blue Mountain State was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uğurcan Tanören to maneuver through the defense. Blue Mountain State's Yalçın Olgunay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Blue Mountain State from getting a goal against them. After 25 played minutes Osmanlı İmparatorluğu got a freekick which was hit by Dilmen Şahiner. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kürşat Nazir got free with Yalçın Olgunay in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Erdoğan Çetinay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Artun Şenyurt's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Kaká in the 35th minute of play forced Osmanlı İmparatorluğu's goalkeeper Erdoğan Çetinay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aybek Laçin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yalçın Olgunay having to interfere. Osmanlı İmparatorluğu's Erdoğan Çetinay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artun Şenyurt in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Aybek Laçin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Yalçın Olgunay. Aybek Laçin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 47 minutes of play, Blue Mountain State's Artun Şenyurt made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erdoğan Çetinay was left in no man's land by his defense there!

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Muhsin Taze managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blue Mountain State's supporters rose to their feet, but Muhsin Taze was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erdoğan Çetinay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erdoğan Çetinay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Kaká in the 62nd minute of play. Yalçın Olgunay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kürşat Nazir in the 65th minute of play. The supporters of Blue Mountain State booed when Osmanlı İmparatorluğu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osman Nuri Arıkhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osmanlı İmparatorluğu's Erdoğan Çetinay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Muhsin Taze in the 67th minute of play. Ricardo Kakás short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Erdoğan Çetinay to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Blue Mountain State getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Sakut Sendur hit a great ball. Cengizhan Akgüngör kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yüksel Mukaddes in the 77th minute of play forced Blue Mountain State's goalkeeper Yalçın Olgunay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Artun Şenyurt reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Erdoğan Çetinay. The goal made the score 1-2. Osmanlı İmparatorluğu's Erdoğan Çetinay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artun Şenyurt in the 81st minute of play. After 81 minutes, Ricardo Kaká made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Osmanlı İmparatorluğu's Erdoğan Çetinay tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 85 played minutes Osmanlı İmparatorluğu got a freekick which was hit by Osman Nuri Arıkhan. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olcay Pekalp during the 86th minute. After a rather tough play, Osmanlı İmparatorluğu's Olcay Pekalp got a free kick in the 86th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Fikri Kutsalmis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Erdoğan Çetinay, 1-4. In the 94th minute Ricardo Kaká shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erdoğan Çetinay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blue Mountain State's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
